The lowbed semi-trailer has flat plate type, concave beam type and tire exposed structure. Its frame is step type and the longitudinal beam interface is I-shaped, which has the characteristics of high stiffness and high strength. The main plane of the frame pallet is low, which ensures the stability of transportation. It’s suitable for all kinds of construction machinery, large equipment and heavy weight steel.
According to the body structure of trailers, we can divide them into skeleton type, semi enclosed type and fully enclosed type. Depending on the rear axle structure, they can be divided into double-axle single tire type, double-axle double tire type, and so on.
The tire limit frame and tire tensioner are used to limit the tire’s movement and prevent the commercial vehicle from moving back and forth. The limit frame is a standard steel pipe structure, while the lower hook falls on the two adjacent holes of the perforated plate. The plate limit frame is optional.
The frame fixing method is to fix the frame of trailer and the frame of the truck together to prevent the trailer’s suspension device from moving too much vertically. Three-axle balanced type, double-axle balanced type or rigid suspension type is usually used. A balance weight is installed between the front and rear leaf springs, which will maintain the deflection among the front and rear leaf springs the same amount and balance the force on the front and rear axles. Carbon trioxide gas shielded welding makes the trailer more durable with an elegant appearance.
