Generally, the full trailer has axles spreaded out at the front and the end of trailer, while the axles on the semi-trailer are located at the end of the trailer. That’s why semi trailer refers to a vehicle that has no power and is transported with the tractor truck and driven by the the tractor truck.
Simply put, the full trailer is connected with the truck in front with a hook. The semi-trailer is connected with the traction seat of the tractor through the traction pin. The commonly seen container transport tailer is a typical type of semi-trailer truck combination, and the loading part being towed is a semi-trailer.
